Brentwood has a Tradition of Excellence.
Since 1965, Brentwood Elementary has provided quality education to the community in a safe, positive learning environment. A dedicated team of teachers, support staff, and the parent community work together to help all students develop to their full potential.
Mission
To inspire students to realize their potential through unique opportunities and teamwork in an engaging environment. Brentwood is a diverse community of learners that grows tomorrow’s leaders today.
Philosophy
Staff and students continue to emphasize the academics in the four core subjects. In addition, strong programs are offered in physical education, health, French, art and music. Technology is incorporated into classroom instruction in most subject areas.
Programs & Services
Three unique programs operate at Brentwood. Our programs include: Elementary Program for Kindergarten to Grade 6, Logos Christian Program from Kindergarten to Grade 6, and the Special Education Program – GOALS – for grades 1 to 6. While protecting the integrity of each, all staff and students work together as part of the Brentwood Family. One special initiative that helps to build school unity is the Character Education program.

FOREST GROVE SCHOOL (7-9)
About
Forest Grove School is a new school within Elk Island Public Schools slated to open August 2026.
Introduction
Nestled in the heart of the tree-inspired streets of Sherwood Park, Forest Grove is an beautiful new school serving students in Kindergarten through Grade 9. Scheduled to open August of 2026, students from two legendary schools, Ecole Campbelltown and Sherwood Heights, will join together to establish a new community rooted in our rich histories.
Population
Forest Grove will serve over 900 students from our local neighbourhoods.
Philosophy
Forest Grove School was named to reflect the power of community. A forest is made up of many trees, while a grove is a smaller grouping of trees. Together, they symbolize how smaller groups come together to create something stronger as a whole.
At Forest Grove, students, families, staff, and community members come together in these “groves” to build a supportive, connected learning community. We believe in seeing the best in one another and using each person’s unique strengths to help every student thrive.
Beliefs
We believe that every student can succeed in academic, life, and interpersonal skills. We are committed to working closely with parents to find the best way for each student to find success and grow into healthy and fulfilled individuals.
We also believe in embracing diverse perspectives that reflect our community. In addition to our robust French Immersion programming, we are also proud to provide faith-based learning through our junior high Logos program, as well as honours programming for students in Grades 8 and 9.
